NFL.com reports New Orleans WR Michael Thomas (ankle) is expected to miss the start of the 2021 season after undergoing surgery to repair the ligaments in his ankle in June. Based on the timing of the surgery, and the recommended four months of recovery, Thomas could be on the sideline for weeks. As a result of this news, the Saints have interest in the free-agent market and should bring in a few receivers for tryouts in the coming days.

Mike's View: Oh, boy. This is just what the Saints needed... NOT! This means WR Michael Thomas is all but OUT until at least October, if not longer. That likely means he's going to miss 6+ weeks
