Comments
1 Josh Allen BUF 13 608 395 4420 35 14 3 107 620 6 459
Allen would have by the top QB1 for fantasy in 2022 if not for his elbow injury, so assuming he is healthy in 2023, he will vault back to the top of the heap.
2 Jalen Hurts PHI 10 494 326 3600 26 7 3 156 790 13 441
Hurts blew up on the ground in 2022, but was also very effective passing the football. Look for more of the same in 2023.
3 - Patrick Mahomes KC 10 652 428 4860 35 12 0 63 370 3 438
Mahomes is a machine. He lost Tyreek Hill in 2022 and still finished atop the stat pile for fantasy. He will remain an elite producer in 2023. That said, the knee injury to TE Travis Kelce knocks Mahomes down to the bottom of the first Tier.
4 Justin Herbert LAC 5 678 456 4960 33 11 3 61 260 2 418
Herbert had a down year due to injuries to himself and his top wideouts. Everyone is healthy, so he should rebound nicely into the top 5 QBs for 2023.
5 Joe Burrow CIN 7 618 427 4600 35 13 3 63 210 4 415
Burrow is money, pretty much every week. That said, he is not a top 3 QB for fantasy, but is the next best thing. Consistency is his game, so if you do not draft a top 3 QB, taking Burrow is advised. That said, his calf strain bares watching, as he slides one slot in our poll.
6 Justin Fields CHI 13 498 308 3600 22 12 3 172 1090 6 413
Fields started slow in 2022, but the coaches allowed him to run and he took off in a huge way. He also improved on his passing, and with increased talent as targets including D.J. Moore, Fields seems locked in as a solid QB1 in 2023.
7 Lamar Jackson BAL 13 470 298 3380 23 10 4 137 860 6 383
Jackson got his big money deal and returns as a dynamic threat at QB for the Ravens. Provided he can stay healthy (far from a lock), he should produce solid QB1 numbers.
8 Trevor Lawrence JAC 9 593 391 4240 28 9 0 71 310 4 379
Lawrence really developed in the latter part of 2022 into a serious fantasy threat. He gets all his weapons back plus Calvin Ridley. That makes him an excellent Joe Burrow type of fantasy producer that can be had 1-2 rounds later than Burrow!
9 Dak Prescott DAL 7 591 398 4400 32 11 4 53 190 1 373
Prescott gets Brandin Cooks and loses Zeke (goal line hog) in 2023. If he can stay healthy, he should rebound back into the top 10 QBs for fantasy.
10 Kirk Cousins MIN 13 626 414 4460 32 12 5 30 100 1 367
Cousins loses Thielen, but gains rookie Addison this season. He will produce the stinker now and again, but most weeks, he is a solid QB1 for fantasy. That will not change in 2023.
