A few key NFL injury notes some big news to discuss today…
The Philadelphia Eagles will decide whether to place QB Jalen Hurts (blood clot) on short-term injured reserve on Saturday. Sme people are hopeful that Hurts can avoid injured reserve. The situation is very much touch and go and QB Tanner McKee will probably start multiple games.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers QB Baker Mayfield (thumb) threw on Monday as he was pushing hard to play, but the injured thumb "swelled up on him." He is OUT at least one more week if not more.
