The Ultimate Auction Strategy
Year after year, after trying various strategies, I always resolve that the ultimate budget is the Unicorn. Draft one top stud in each position. Spend $10-$13 for Lamar Jackson or Drake Maye, spend $10-$13 for Loveland or Warren, spend $50-$58 on a top 5 RB (Gibbs, Bijan, CMC, JT or Achane), and $50-$55 on a top 4 WR (Puka, Chase, JSN or Sun God). Spend $20-$24 each for WR2 (the WRs in this range will be Olave, Wilson, Tet Mac, Pickens, DeVonta Smith, Nabers, Flowers) and a RB2 (the RBs in this range will be K. Williams, J. Williams, Breece) then fill in the rest with whatever deals you can get at the bottom of the draft – and keep building the team via shrewd waiver wire attention throughout the season.
