Tight End is the simplest position for fantasy football managers, but still the most frustrating of the Big Four – not counting kickers or team defense of course, and not getting into IDPs. The simplicity is part of what makes them frustrating. That is, depending on your league rules, you may start only one per squad, or you may use them as a flex. There’s a limited supply worth rostering, and only 2-3 elite in any given year. So, different leagues take a variety of approaches to make the position either more or less attractive. Premium TE leagues award an extra point or half point per reception, for example, while other leagues just eliminate the TE as a position, and TE’s can start as wide receivers.
