The trend of the NFL becoming more of a passing league is continuing and as you are all seeing from mock fantasy drafts, receivers are dominating the first round unlike in past seasons when running backs used to dominate. With the rise in importance of the passing game, the quarterbacks have increased importance as well. In 1 QB leagues the prevailing strategy up until a couple of years ago was to wait for your QB as there is not that much difference as long as you had a top 12 QB. It was believed that the drop off at the other positions made waiting for a QB a smart move.
