NBC Sports reports Dallas Cowboys RB Javonte Williams only missed one game during his final two seasons with the Broncos, but he doesn’t feel like he was 100 percent healthy for those contests. Williams injured his ACL and other knee ligaments early in the 2022 season and saw his yards per carry dip from 4.4 before the injury to 3.6 after his return. Williams moved on to the Cowboys as a free agent this offseason and said this week that recovery time “depends on who you are, it depends on your body” while explaining that he feels like he has finally made it all the way back. “I feel completely like myself. . . . I probably can get more flexible and things like that, but as far as healing up, that I feel like is done,” Williams said, via the team’s website.

NBC Sports reports Dallas Cowboys medical staff has yet to fully clear QB Dak Prescott (hamstring), but he is participating in voluntary offseason workouts. “Pretty much can do it all. Feel good,” Prescott said Tuesday. “Yeah, I think I’m just not cleared for contact, which we’ve got a while for that anyways. Yeah, I’m out there in the team activities. Feel good. Just trying to stay that way. Yeah, feeling great.” Prescott downplayed concerns about the fact that he isn’t fully healed yet. “People say a lot of things about me, man,” Prescott said. “I just show up and control what I can control [to get] healthy. Trying to stay healthy. Feels good. Yeah, just trying to push the energy and make sure I continue to get better.” He also said he is ahead, not behind, in his offseason work.

NBC Sports reports Dallas Cowboys QB Dak Prescott discussed the WR George Pickens acquisition and said that he’s connected with Pickens to start building up a relationship the Cowboys hope translates into fireworks on the field. Prescott made it clear that he believes Pickens has the skills to create that kind of production on the field this fall. “You turn on the tape, you see a guy that can catch the football,” Prescott said. “You put the football anywhere in his vicinity, very strong hands. More than a 50/50 catcher. He thinks it’s his ball when it’s in the air. I’m excited for him. I know we needed some help at that position.”

The Dallas Cowboys official website reports the Cowboys have agreed to terms to acquire WR George Pickens and a 2026 6th-round pick from the Steelers in exchange for a 2026 3rd-round pick and a 2027 5th-round pick. The Cowboys’ plan is for Pickens to play out his rookie deal.
