The Arizona Cardinals have some MAJOR upgrades to make.

First, the Cardinals fired their coach – Johnathan Gannon on Jan 5, 2026 after a rough 3-14 season that showed promise then just went awry!

The Cardinals took their time replacing their coach and ended up hiring Mike LaFleur. Mike LaFleur has hired Nathaniel Hackett as offensive coordinator (best known as GB OC). Defensive Coordinator is the next step in filling coaching voids.

On the field, lots of questions remain:

1. QB: QB Kyler Murray - Is he the starting quarterback? Will he be with the team? Will there be a trade? Is Jacoby Brissett starting in 2026?
2. RB: Need a backup for RB James Conner. Does RB James Conner come back? Will RB Trey Benson shine?
3. WR: WR Marvin Harrison #1, WR Michael Wilson #2, WR Zay Jones #3, WR Greg Dortch #4 and then? Needs a bit of an increase in talent here
4. TE: TE Trey McBride #1 and #1 in dynasty and NFL!

Salary Cap: approximately $40M in available salary cap of which the draft class should reduce that to about $27M. If the Cardinals cut QB Kyler Murray prior to March 15 they save $35M in cap space but have $17M in dead cap money. Look for some vets to be cut soon to clear some cap space. This team needs to get faster, stronger, tougher, and meaner!
