Houston Texans March Scouting Report
David Trojanowsky
3/28/2025

Last month I asked if the Texans would bring in FA interior linemen? Today we have our answer. OLT Laremy Tunsil, talented with a great personality but demonstrating Joe Biden leadership skills is in DC. OLG Kenyon Green, first round bust is in Philly. Their starting ORG Shaq Mason released. Incoming veterans include OG Laken Tomlinson, OG Ed Ingram, OT Cam Robinson, and OT Trent Brown. The OL room has changed. Missing still is the new stud LT. Expect the Texans to draft him in April. That flock of scared lambs known as the Texans OL hopefully is changing.

QB C.J. Stroud will not see WR Tank Dell or WR Stefon Diggs in 2025. Diggs is off to Patland with a great contract. Stefon, we barely knew you, but we all liked you. Enter WR Christian Kirk. Will he be a capable asset? It is time for WR Xavier Hutchinson and WR John Metchie to catch passes; to play like they belong. Count on the Texans drafting a WR in the early rounds.

S Calen Bullock and CB Kamari Lassiter played like stars last year. Has the D found a Daddy-Oh S in C.J. Gardner-Johnson? I understand he is an acquired taste. The secondary is looking up. DT Sheldon Rankins is also back with the team.

The Texans have brought some new people in during the FA process. Now comes the best time of the year for people like us. The NFL Draft!
