Houston Texans Early August Scouting Report

Looking for a sure-fire sleeper for you fantasy draft? WR Tank Dell may be your guy. Sure, he is a rookie and only weighs 165, but he’s real fast…he has the kind of speed that kills.
Another sleeper may be the Houston D. Yes, they are missing that big guy in the DL. That is probably the weak link in this D, but they are playing team ball.
QB play so far in camp has been predictable. QB CJ Stroud was hassled as a starter because the OL again played putrid. QB Davis Mills should play a lot this year. He is getting better.
The OL is dealing with injuries and a rookie OC. So far, the best description for the OL is putrid. Without a very good OL the Texans will nosedive from the start.
RB Dameon Pierce is your guy. After that who knows.
WR Tank Dell is the only receiver who has separation and big-time speed. There are numerous other WRs but so far no one has separated themselves from the pack. That said, there will be TD passes and someone will have to catch them. WR Nico Collins is the WR1, though.
This has been what I’ve seen in camp, so far.
