30 days until training camp. Still have many of the same questions as last year when the OL absolutely killed the O. Have we real hope for an improved OL? OTAs did not show us much. C Juice Scruggs was drafted to play C but had to line up at RG because RG Kenyon Green could not go. Still trying to feel his way through minor knee surgery. The interior of the OL played poorly last year. So far, we have no real reason to feel better.

With more talent in the QB room there is reason for optimism. Got to have that OL.

Same is true concerning the run game. The Texans paid $ 175,000 to RB Xazavian Valladay of Arizona State to come in as an undrafted FA. I am tracking him this year as a deep sleeper. With 4.46 in the forty, this guy can make this team. RB Dameon Pierce runs so violently there should be room for a second RB to emerge.

Edge Will Anderson Jr. will help the D. He may be their only difference maker on the D. Can only hope that CB Derek Stingley Jr. and S Jalen Pitre emerge.

Will a number one WR emerge? Can WR John Metchie III or WR Tank Dell show us some new life in the receiving game?

The Texans have some pieces. With so many struggling teams out there who knows what will happen?
