Los Angeles Chargers Late August Scouting Report
Brad Willis
8/30/2022

This will be a brief recap of the Chargers preseason and their final cuts to get down to their 53-man roster. Just to keep things simple, there were no great surprised worth discussing in the list of the Chargers who were cut. Fortunately for the Chargers, they have tremendous depth at wide receiver. Unfortunately for preseason standout WR Michael Bandy, he was not able to secure a roster slot on a team that is stacked with wideouts. Pretty sure that Bandy will land on his feet though.

Typically, we don’t learn much from the Chargers in their preseason games, as the team rarely plays their starters. One of the few things learned was that the apparent backup to RB Austin Ekeler is likely to be RB Joshua Kelley, who showed up at camp in great shape and has looked solid. Otherwise, the biggest surprise was WR Michael Bandy, and of course he is no longer a Charger.

Good luck in your draft and stay tuned to Premium Quick Bits for the latest important Chargers and NFL news. I will return with a week #1 preview next week!

"I began using FFM in the late 1990s. For 20+ years they were an extremely valuable resource, as I enjoyed great success in my league during that period. Unfortunately, my league came to an end during the Covid years, and I stopped subscribing to FFM. After a year without Fantasy Football, I started looking into online sports betting and quickly realized FFM could again become a valuable source of information for prop bets on individual players. I resumed my subscription with FFM and have not looked back. FFM is clearly a dual threat; they can severely increase your odds of success in both fantasy leagues as well as prop betting. I almost feel guilty with the tremendous returns I get from such a modest investment in FFM."
-- Sal B.

-- Fred Masterjohn
