Arizona Cardinals April Scouting Report
David Vohs
4/28/2022

Well, draft day is upon us. The Arizona Cardinals have really been the "Stong Silent" type in this year’s free agency. But right now, let’s focus on tonight’s draft.

Arizona Cardinal Draft Picks

1.23

2.55

3.87

6.201

6.215

7.244

7.256

7.257

So 8 picks total, 3 potential impact picks this weekend.

2022 Draft needs for the Arizona Cardinals: The Arizona Cardinals have several areas of need. I would rank them as follows:

Edge Rusher, CB. WR, OL, S,CB (again) and really could improve everywhere. Best player available is always the right pick.

At Edge Rusher, Purdue’s DE George Karlaftis has been aligned to the #23 pick with the Cardinals. I would applaud that pick. Penn State’s Arnold Ebiketie is an option but even Michigan’s David Ojabo would be great.

The Cardinals have needed to draft about 20 CBs when they have not. I would doubt that CB Sauce Gardner – Cincinnati or CB Derek Stingley Jr – LSU would drop to AZ. They don’t really have the draft capital to move up. So who would they look at? CB Trent McDuffie – Washington, CB Andrew Booth Jr – Clemson or CB Kaiir Elam – Florida all have been mocked to the Cardinals but all have downsides and you really need to make a splash on Day 1 of the draft.

At OL, C Tyler Linderbaum would also be a great fit. This guy is a football player. Many have said he had short arms… come on…. He should have a long great career.

If a solid WR falls to the Cardinals in the second round, don’t be surprised if they graone as this draft is deep with good WR.

My take: The Cardinals move down, and get more picks in the 3rd and 4th if possible. Go Cardinals!!!!

End.

Testimonials

"Thanks as always for the best service in the business. You run the highest quality fantasy service on the market today!"
-- Michael Barnes

"I began using FFM in the late 1990s. For 20+ years they were an extremely valuable resource, as I enjoyed great success in my league during that period. Unfortunately, my league came to an end during the Covid years, and I stopped subscribing to FFM. After a year without Fantasy Football, I started looking into online sports betting and quickly realized FFM could again become a valuable source of information for prop bets on individual players. I resumed my subscription with FFM and have not looked back. FFM is clearly a dual threat; they can severely increase your odds of success in both fantasy leagues as well as prop betting. I almost feel guilty with the tremendous returns I get from such a modest investment in FFM."
-- Sal B.

"Well worth the $60 to 'buy" myself another fantasy championship. If only my competitors knew my secret!"
