New York Giants June Scouting Report
Tony DeArmas
6/29/2021

Here is the Giants update for June:

QB Daniel Jones is being picked by many fantasy pundits as a sleeper quarterback for 2021. If the offensive line keeps him upright, he will be able to leverage an impressive group of offensive players.

RB Saquon Barkley is doing well in his rehab but might not be ready for the start of training camp. As long as he ready for the regular season, let him take his time. The G-Men picked up veteran RB Corey Clement to pair with RB Deontae Booker.

WR Kenny Golladay, WR Sterling Shepard, and WR Darius Slayton are set as the 3 receivers. This a solid trio if they can stay healthy and provide a diverse set of talents that DJ can tap into. There are rumors swirling that Shep could be traded to alleviate salary cap pressure.

TE Evan Engram was re-signed, but needs to show consistency. Free agent TE Kelvin Benjamin was signed to provide depth & competition. He will be mostly a receiving target as I can't imagine he is much of a blocker. TE Kyle Rudolph will see action in multiple TE sets.

I am expecting even bigger things from the Patrick Graham led defense this year. The defensive line is stout with DT Dexter Lawrence and DE Leonard Williams. The secondary is as good as it gets. I need to see progression from the linebackers other than LB Blake Martinez.

PK Graham Gano is a fixture.

That's it for now.

More to come in July with training camp news...

End.

Testimonials

"I began using FFM in the late 1990s. For 20+ years they were an extremely valuable resource, as I enjoyed great success in my league during that period. Unfortunately, my league came to an end during the Covid years, and I stopped subscribing to FFM. After a year without Fantasy Football, I started looking into online sports betting and quickly realized FFM could again become a valuable source of information for prop bets on individual players. I resumed my subscription with FFM and have not looked back. FFM is clearly a dual threat; they can severely increase your odds of success in both fantasy leagues as well as prop betting. I almost feel guilty with the tremendous returns I get from such a modest investment in FFM."
