Washington Redskins June Scouting Report
David Vohs
6/30/2020

RIP Joe Bugel! You were a great coach to the world famous "Hogs" in Washington.

Again, June has been very quiet dealing with current world problems and a nasty COVID-19 Virus.

Let’s recap

QB: QB Dwayne Haskins has his shot at starting in the NFL. QB Steve Montez, QB Alex Smith, QB Kyle Allen do not pose a threat to QB Dwayne Haskins. Period.

RB: The Redskins will enter the year with RB Derrius Guice, RB Adrian Peterson, RB Peyton Barber, RB Bryce Love, RB Josh Ferguson, and RB Antonio Gibson. Look for 4 RBs to be kept including Guice, Peterson, Barber, and Love.

WR: The Redskins have 13 WRs on the roster currently. I imagine they will only keep 6-7 on the roster. WR Terry McLauren really showed up last year and is the clear #1 on this team. Other receivers in the mix to stay are WR JD McKissic, WR Kelvin Harmon, WR Cody Lattimer, WR Steven Sims Jr, and WR Antonio Golden-Gandy. I would look for this team to sign a veteran leader as teams get down to their 53 man roster.

TE: The Redskins have 7 TE’s on the roster and the most intriguing one may be TE Thaddeus Moss (son of WR Randy Moss) has a ton of upside, but is smallish at 6’2" 250 pounds. I don’t see any long term or fantasy productivity at this position unless TE Thaddeus Moss really comes through.

I look for the Redskins to have a rough season this year and be fighting for one of the top draft slots this year which I hope they use to shore positions on the O-Line and D-Line for years to come.

I think there are some fantasy stars here including WR Terry Mclauren, RB Derrius Guice, and perhaps WR Cody Latttimer. QB Dwayne Haskins could be a good bench player for teams as well. RB Adrian Peterson could we worth a late round flier.

Go Redskins!

End.

Testimonials

"I'd like to thank Fantasy Football Mastermind for all their great information this year. I was in five leagues this year. I made the playoffs in four of the leagues, had the best record in three leagues, went to the championship in three leagues."
-- Fred Masterjohn

"Great web site! You never let me down!"
-- Mike Panet

"After being cheap for a couple seasons - and having the results to show for it - I subscribed again last year and promptly won my league. You guys do an excellent job. I love the Tiering approach - it really makes it easier to figure out the best way to make good value picks."
-- Brian Hammond

"First year as a FF Mastermind Premium Subscriber and first year winning our league championship. Coincidence??? I don't think so! Thanks Mike!"
-- Mike St. Clair

"Thanks a ton for all your work on IDP information and analysis - very grateful as I am just leaving for the draft now. That's why FFMastermind blows all others services away."

"I began using FFM in the late 1990s. For 20+ years they were an extremely valuable resource, as I enjoyed great success in my league during that period. Unfortunately, my league came to an end during the Covid years, and I stopped subscribing to FFM. After a year without Fantasy Football, I started looking into online sports betting and quickly realized FFM could again become a valuable source of information for prop bets on individual players. I resumed my subscription with FFM and have not looked back. FFM is clearly a dual threat; they can severely increase your odds of success in both fantasy leagues as well as prop betting. I almost feel guilty with the tremendous returns I get from such a modest investment in FFM."
