New York Giants June Scouting Report
Tony DeArmas
6/30/2020

Here is the Giants update for June after numerous Zoom and online meetings:

QB Daniel Jones is slowly taking over the leadership reins of this team. Despite a productive rookie season, his ball security issues were a concern. To address that, he put on 8 lbs. of muscle and is working intently on ball security for 2020. Getting stronger is only one part of this correction. QB Colt McCoy will provide a valuable veteran presence as the backup.

I am very excited to see what a healthy RB Saquon Barkley can do in a very effective Jason Garrett offense. He should get 20-25 touches a game. The addition of exciting 3rd down RB Dion Lewis will be a great contrast to Saquon. RB Wayne Gallman continues to provide much needed depth.

WR Sterling Shepard, WR Golden Tate and WR Darius Slayton are set as the 3 receivers. This a solid trio if they can stay healthy and provide a diverse set of talents that DJ can tap into. They will also benefit greatly from the Garrett offense as downfield shots are part of the equation.

TE Evan Engram was signed to his 5th year option but needs to prove he can stay on the field all season. Although immensely talented, he needs to be on the field to leverage his physical skill set.

I am expecting big things from the Patrick Graham led defense this year. The defensive line is stout with DT Dexter Lawrence and DT Dalvin Tomlinson. They need to sign OLB Markus Golden to beef up their pass rush. The secondary is young but talented. I love the safety tandem of Peppers and McKinney. CB Deandre Baker is likely not to be charged after the firearms issue at a party in May which is a good thing for his career. The ultra conservative GMen would likely cut him loose if charged.

PK Aldrick Rosas was arrested for hit & run driving. Consider his Giants career to be over.

That’s it for now.

More to come in July with training camp news….

End.

Testimonials

"I began using FFM in the late 1990s. For 20+ years they were an extremely valuable resource, as I enjoyed great success in my league during that period. Unfortunately, my league came to an end during the Covid years, and I stopped subscribing to FFM. After a year without Fantasy Football, I started looking into online sports betting and quickly realized FFM could again become a valuable source of information for prop bets on individual players. I resumed my subscription with FFM and have not looked back. FFM is clearly a dual threat; they can severely increase your odds of success in both fantasy leagues as well as prop betting. I almost feel guilty with the tremendous returns I get from such a modest investment in FFM."

"Thanks again for helping me win 3 championships in 4 years. Your premium services are great. Considering I won over $4,500 (net) in four years, I would say your service is quite a bargain."
