Arizona Cardinals Week 2 Pre-season Report – 2018

Currently, the Cardinals are playing the Saints in New Orleans for preseason week #2. The Cardinals looked sluggish to start this game but are currently leading 17-3 just before the half.

Let’s look at the fantasy position implications.

QB: Sam Bradford. The QB position across the NFL seems to have deepened! QBs are looking good in the pre-season. QB Sam Bradford went 6-6 in this game before giving way to QB Josh Rosen. QB Josh Rosen is looking good in the second pre-season game. QB Mike Glennon did not look good in the first pre-season game. He is a #3 at best and may not make this roster. His salary could get a backup Center in here after the 4^th pre-season game cuts. QB Chris Kanoff could be the #3 WR for this team and save some cap money for the Cardinals.

RB: RB David Johnson…. GREAT! RB Chase Edmonds …… good! RB Chase Edmonds in dynasty league is a great person to draft in the third round if you can. I had the opportunity and went another way and I’m starting to regret it! RB Chase Edmonds has the chance and probably already has gotten the second position on the team. Not much else to talk about here other than RB TJ Logan back from injury last year. He has a great chance to be #3.

WR: WR Larry Fitzgerald. HOF! Who is #2? WR Christian Kirk from the looks of this game is the clear #2 WR. WR Chad Williams made a nice catch as well. Stay tuned! WR Christian Kirk should definitely be drafted in the top WR of this draft.

TE: TE Ricky Seals-Jones is the real deal. Keep an eye on him.

The Cardinals should get better and better as this scheme starts to sink in this year.

Next week, the Cardinals should play their starters for most of the first half. Hopefully they will start a bit faster. They will be playing the Dallas Cowboys. We’ll look at the players I think will make the team and who’s on the bubble and perhaps who they could bring in! I almost guarantee one will be a veteran Center if any of them are let go.
