NFL.com reports Los Angeles Rams RB Cam Akers suffered a torn Achilles yesterday. He will miss the 2021 NFL season, but have plenty of time to be healthy and play in 2022.

 

Mike’s View: This may be a crushing blow to RB Cam Akers in 2021, since he will not play, but the Rams have one of the better backup in the league on their roster in RB Darrell Henderson, a player who will no doubt step into a starting role. That said, he is not Akers, so his production will not match what Akers could do. We will remove Akers from our rankings today, while Henderson will climb accordingly. Akers’ ADP was late-1^st or early 2^nd round in 12-team league...
