Week #10: Picks to Click/Flick
Michael Nazarek

This section expresses my gut feeling with regard to which NFL players I feel will have good days and those that will have bad ones. I remind everyone to take these picks with a grain of salt. They are certainly NOT meant to override our weekly rankings! They are based upon past performances as well as this week's match-up. Last week, it was nice to see flick QB Eli Manning produce a big game against the Eagles in a divisional contest. It seems the Eagles defense has become nothing special. Tell that to the Minnesota Vikings defense, a team that has now lost three in a row. And then there's the Denver Broncos defense, a unit that got burned for 200+ rushing yards and lost to the Raiders! Talk about a topsy-turvy day! Oh, I believe I've finally found out the proper current role of flick RB Ryan Mathews in Philly. Mathews is the designated starter (gets the first carry), then is pulled until the team is in the red zone. That makes him the red zone back on first and second downs only. In other words, he's the epitome of the TD dependent fantasy RB. Good luck knowing when to sit or start him! This week, it's click QB Joe Flacco's turn against the sorry Cleveland Browns defense, basically making nearly all key-skilled Ravens players good fantasy starts. Click RB Devontae Booker should get back on track against a sorry Saints run defense. Speaking of the Saints, flick QB Drew Brees is a CAUTION PLAY this week. You know why. The Broncos always limit the fantasy production of the opposing QB, even if they lose the game. Just ask last week's flick QB Derek Carr. Good luck this week!
