As a result, Prescott has met with police who are investigating the situation. “We reported their criminal behavior to the Prosper Police Department and have been fully cooperative with them,” attorney Levi McCathern said. “When Ms. Shores doubled down on her false claim of sexual assault and reported it to the Dallas Police Department, we proactively reached out to cooperate with them as well. Dak has nothing to hide. He did nothing wrong. . . . He has and will continue to fully cooperate with any investigation, knowing the truth is on his side.” The incident allegedly happened in early 2017. While it’s too late for a sexual assault lawsuit to be filed against Prescott, other civil claims have been made.

NBC Sports reports Cleveland Browns GM Andrew Berry said RB Nick Chubb (torn ACL) is progressing well as the season draws closer. “He’s really attacked it very aggressively, really since he’s been able to in the fall,” Berry said. “He’s going at a good pace. It’s still early. He actually started running on land this past week. That’s not to say that he’s through the woods or anything, but he’s doing everything in his power. NBC Sports reports Cleveland Browns GM Andrew Berry provided another update on QB Deshaun Watson (shoulder). Watson has been at the team’s offseason workouts this week and Berry shared a note about how his right shoulder is progressing after last year’s season-ending injury. “This week Deshaun was throwing up to 40 yards,” Berry said. “He’s in a pretty good spot. Again, I don’t want to put the cart before the horse, he’s progressing as appropriate. We’re really, really pleased with the work that he’s put in and really pleased with how his shoulder’s responding, but we’re still in the rehab process. We know that it could take different left and right turns, but we’re pretty optimistic in terms of what we’ve seen so far.”
