-- Lance Moore, & Gronk Pretty Much OUT --
-- Run DMC, Jennings, Megatron, A.J., Mike Williams, & S.J. Questionable to Play --
There have only a few late week official developments concerning key starting positions. Let's get right to it...
All Chicago Bears and New York Giants players have been removed from our rankings update since they have already played.
There have been no changes made to our QB rankings today.
The following players are pretty much OUT and have been removed from our poll: New Orleans Saints WR Lance Moore (hand) and New England Patriots TE Rob Gronkowski (forearm/back).
New England Patriots RB Stevan Ridley (knee - questionable) seems likely to play, but RB Brandon Bolden (knee - questionable) will also play and see most of the action on passing downs. As a result, Bolden climbs in our poll a bit today.
Both Oakland Raiders RB Darren McFadden (hamstring - questionable) and RB Rashad Jennings (hamstring - questionable) practiced this week. We simply don't know who will play and who will not. RB Marcel Reece (knee - probable) is also dinged, but should play. As a result, Reece slides in behind the other two players. One word here: AVOID.
St. Louis Rams rookie RB Zac Stacy (chest - questionable) seems likely to play and probably start if that's the case. He maintains his current ranking in our poll, but check his status on Sunday morning before starting him.
The following wideouts are questionable to play, but hold their ranking today in our poll: Detroit Lions WR Calvin Johnson (knee), Houston Texans WR Andre Johnson (shin), Tampa Bay Buccaneers WR Mike Williams (hamstring), and Buffalo Bills WR Stevie Johnson (back/personal). If any of them are declared inactive, we'll let you know via Premium Injury Quick Bits.
Dallas Cowboys WR Miles Austin (hamstring - probable) practiced all week, so he's set to play on Sunday. As a result, he rises on our poll, but he's not 100%, so rookie WR Terrance Williams makes a better fantasy play. Use caution when considering Austin for a fantasy start.
Finally, New York Jets TE Kellen Winslow has been suspended four games for a PDs violation. He's removed from our poll, while TE Jeff Cumberland rises since he'll not only start the game, but see most of the pass-catching targets for the Jets TE position. He makes a nice sleeper quick fix for fantasy owners in need.
