Is Brett Favre becoming the Ross Perot of the NFL? He’s out one day, returning the next… well folks, don’t sweat it. Brett WILL NOT un-retire. The only way it would happen would be if some team contacted the team and traded for his rights. I doubt that this is even a credible scenario.

Brett has NOT executed his normal off-season workout routine. Moreover, he has a nice contributing role at FOX, and what’s more, John Deere is releasing their new product line come late August. Seriously, there are NO real indications that Brett will come out of retirement.

Aaron Rodgers kind of stepped in a pile of crap with his quote suggesting that fans chill out. I, for one, took no offense whatsoever. Rodgers is a young, confident QB. He simply is putting the fans on notice that it is his team now. Nothin’ wrong with that!!

Training camp starts soon. The big battles to watch will be at LB and CB, where Brady Poppinga will be challenged by Brandon Chillar and the starting nickel-back position will be fought out between Will Blackmon and Tramon Williams, with rookie Pat Lee in the mix. At Punter, yes PUNTER…Ken DeBauche may well unseat Jon Ryan.

Don’t be fooled, folks…. The packers still might be the cream on the NFC North.

More later!
