First--apologize for the delay but remember that I am on PST so bear with me!
Now as for my pick---Not as clear cut a choice as I would have liked with our new conversion to PPR.
Deciding between an obvious handful of players but just felt that CJ3's explosiveness and breakout year were just too tempting to pass up in a PPR.
See you fellas at the turn and good luck! |

This being a PPR format, it was an easy choice to grab Rice with pick 1.04. Now, if only Baltimore would quit giving McGahee all the goal-line carries. _________________ FFM Vegas: 12-3 (Champion)

Two things:
1. All owners should be encouraged to make comments both on their picks and all picks so that we keep the board active.
2. We should probably be able to make more than 5 picks a day don't you think? I know I started if off slow but only at 1.05? |

| I had a little hope that Andre would make it to eight. |

Gore best pick at six for me in a PPR league. Had 13 TD's last year. Injuries concern for Gore at time, but went with him over SJax. _________________ Houston Gamblers

He probably would have if this wasn't PPR. The RB pool is a bit more shallow w/PPR, and brings WR's into the mix earlier than normal. _________________ FFM Vegas: 12-3 (Champion)

Was hoping someone else would fall to #7, but they didn't (RR ). Only 3 down back left, easy pick to make. |

| Turner is the pick because I know he will get a bunch of carries and all the goal line work. I know he wont have any catches but I like the way he was coming on last year before the ankle sprain. |

With the way the draft has gone and the RB's that aren't there anymore, I like the PPR format for Fitz even with their QB issues. _________________ 10 tm IDP dynasty std non-PPR (2QB/3-4RB/3-4WR/1TE/1K)

I really debated on who to pick here. There wasn't a RB worth the pick here IMO. I thought hard about Moss or Wayne but both players had issues that concern me. Moss with no Welker or running game may be double teamed all year and Wayne with the emergence of Garcon, Collie, D. Clark and return of Gonzalez may spread the ball around too much.
I picked Austin because he is the clear top target on a passing team and the numbers he put up after week 4 are very hard to ignore. |
